Food quality and safety

The internal laboratory analyzes samples of finished products and raw materials, swabs of the workplace,  equipment, tools and hands of the production staff thus monitoring the health safety of the products that, along with the with quality of the production processes, is guaranteed by the responsible personnel or PIK as a responsible and conscientious subject in the food business.

Other than the internal laboratory which controls the health regularity of the products, the hygiene of the employees, the workplace and equipment, the quality in the production process is also guaranteed by the people responsible for the production process, or PIK Vrbovec as a subject in the food business.

By implementing the prerequisite programs, the foundation was set for the efficient implementation of the HACCP system.  The strictly controlled process is additionally and systematically monitored by the implementation of HACCP as a preventive approach to food health safety that enables export to the most demanding markets of the USA and Europe, additionally confirmed by the export number HR 10.

For us customer satisfaction comes first so PIK Vrbovec implemented quality management systems for HALAL and Kosher products at the request of the customers. 

The safety and quality of each PIK product is guaranteed by constant monitoring and traceability of the entire process in accordance with the policies of quality and food safety.

PIK Vrbovec is the largest meat industry in Croatia with over 70 years of tradition in producing meat and meat products.
